What is Container Conversion & Modification?

Shipping Containers are versatile building blocks made of corrosion resistant (Corten A) heavy duty steel structure (designed to carry 25 Tons) which can be cut, shaped, then joined to make any t ype of enclosure, structure or shelter that is cost-effective, adaptable for many uses, easily erected and transportable. From simple one-room offices expandable to multi-storied office buildings, hotels and warehouses. Any kind of structure imaginable!

A typical container(s) conversion starts by deciding the number of containers required to give the overall space required. In a sense this is similar to using Lego blocks to make a building. Once the number of containers is decided, openings are made and framed a stage which is called fabrication. Once fabrication is completed then the containers the following is installed, insulation, flooring, doors, windows, electrical wiring, plumbing, air conditioning, furniture and other fittings as required. The containers are then painted with heavy duty rust resistant paint . The units are then prepared for shipping and here containers have a major advantage in that they are built for sea and reaod transportation which makes them easily and economically transportable worldwide. It is one of the few forms of building which can be shipped worldwide with ease!
